The Aluminium Finishing Association
The AFA was established 30 years ago and its goal was to bring together, suppliers, powder coaters and anodisers to ensure that a consistently high standard of finishing was available to the building and construction sector. The Association was a key contributor to BS 6496,which for many years has been the bible for architects and specifiers across the UK.
The interests of the membership have now broadened into other areas such as automotive, media and decorative markets.
This website is a new initiative aimed at providing end users with the information to correctly specify their requirements and to ensure that the work is undertaken by a competent applicator or anodiser.
